Jérémy, he alternated between selling and handling, before taking the competition to join the Network Protection and Security Group (GPSR), seven months ago. “What convinced me? There is no routine, we really touch on everything”, he explains. “We are faced with a whole bunch of different facts every day. We are with teammates who are there to support us. Teamwork appealed to me right away.“
Perspective of evolution
A radical life change for the two men, with the key, a base salary of 2000 euros and prospects in sight. “RATP is a big company, with lots of opportunities for development“, advances Lhisitone. “With Greater Paris, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, there are things to do. the RATP is the future.”

One out of 70 agents selected for the competition
Verbalize, guide users, is not a job for everyone, the selection is drastic. Because responsibilities are important. “There are many candidates but very few elected“, confirm to France Blue Paris Didier Robidoux, director of security at RATP. “_We retain one candidate out of 70_, a very sharp selection, both from a physical, intellectual and psychotechnical point of view because these agents will be sworn in by the public prosecutor, they will hold a weapon. They will therefore have great responsibilities and great expectations, on our part, but also on the part of users.“
The sine qua non condition to avoid hiccups. “It’s really an assumed choice to take only the best. For more than 20 years there has never been a single annoying or damaging event for our users.“, welcomes the boss of the GPSR.
