vaccination centers are deserted

Monday is normally a big day for the vaccination center located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) but, this morning of January 31, it is almost empty. The few people present did not come with enthusiasm. “It’s to please the children because I, from the start, I didn’t want to do it”, confess a man. “Reluctantly, we do it, we have no choice”, responds a woman.

Result: only three out of four vaccination boxes are open this morning, in the afternoon, only five out of eight are planned. The appointments have been reduced by half, when they are not canceled, which poses a problem of logistics and “risks of bottles opened for nothing”, according to Florence Villaggi, nurse. There are still around three million people to be vaccinated, or their vaccination pass will be deactivated on February 15.
