Presidential 2022: “I want labor income to pay more than assistance income”, says Valérie Pécresse

Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin have called for the de-escalation of tensions in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. But France says it is ready to send NATO reinforcements to Romania. “Finally France is talking to Russia and I think that resuming this dialogue was absolutely essential if we want to guarantee war on the borders of Europe. Furthermore, you have to be very firm in this dialogue. Ukraine’s borders are intangible and we will be there to protect them because today France is engaged in NATO, in an alliance, which will protect sovereign states.” explains Valérie Pécresse on the set of Sunday in politics.

Regarding purchasing power, Valérie Pécresse promises to increase all the salaries of 10% over five years. From the first year, if the candidate LR is elected in 2022, salaries will increase by 3%. “This commitment to increase net wages by 10% is very strong because I want labor income to pay more than assistance income. This commitment will be kept and no one will make me renounce it. To do this, there will be a 3% reduction in pension contributions from the summer on the gross salary, so that will be 3% more net salary for employees”, continues the candidate Les Républicains.
