(Seoul) North Korea fired an “unidentified projectile” into the East Sea, also known as the Sea of Japan, on Sunday, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing a South Korean military source.

This is the seventh weapons test carried out by Pyongyang since the beginning of the year. The last time North Korea conducted so many tests in a month was in 2019, after talks between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and then-US President Donald Trump broke down.
