Delphine Jubillar: her lover’s wife accused again, “24 texts erased”!

Will we ever know what really happened on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 near Cagnac-les-mines? This night, Delphine Jubillar disappeared never to be heard from again. After months of research, investigators have cast their suspicions on Cedric Jubillar, the 33-year-old nurse’s husband. In prison since June, the latter continues to deny the facts of which he is accused and through the voice of his lawyer, Maître Jean-Baptiste Alary, he persists and signs, he did not kill his wife.

In an interview given to the magazine Le Nouveau Détective, the lawyer returns in particular to a track that he considers interesting and that the investigators would not have explored enough for his taste: that of the wife of Delphine Jubillar’s lover. “Why were the cell phones of the lover and his wife left off all night? Why did this woman erase 24 text messages exchanged with Delphine that evening to keep only three?”, he asks himself.

On December 3, the newspaper La Dépêche published information concerning this part of the investigation. According to them, the wife of Delphine’s lover allegedly made around 145 phone calls to an unknown number between December 14 and December 16. For Maître Alary, this should form the basis of a solid lead for the investigators.

The journalists of Parisian had finally had the end of the story concerning these 145 calls… which were not. The scans done on this woman’s phone revealed not 145 calls, but “145 internet data consumptions” between December 14 and 16. This term describes “any type of action that requires an Internet connection: consulting an email address, watching a video, sending or receiving written messages, oral conversations via encrypted messaging services such as WhatsApp, Messenger or Snapchat for example, etc. ...”.

For his part, the lawyer is trying to get Cédric Jubillar out of prison, but for the third time his request for release has been rejected. “I take note of it (…). At the end of the hearing of February 11, we will formulate a new request for release”, replied Mr. Alary.

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
