A total of 2,975 patients remain hospitalized in connection with the virus, of which 231 are still in intensive care. This represents an increase of three intensive care hospitalizations compared to the previous day. The decrease of 116 hospitalizations translates into 258 admissions and 374 discharges.

The 3,510 new cases reported bring the daily average to 3,734. However, these figures are not representative of the epidemiological situation due to the limits imposed on screening, which is now reserved for certain groups of the population.

The vaccination status of new cases and hospitalizations are not available today, “due to technical difficulties”, wrote Santé Québec on Twitter.
