It must be said that the Zemmour / Mélenchon confrontation was high-flying… enough to make Internet users want to decipher, relay, comment, criticize.
“He is the only one who wanted to come and confront Jean-Luc Mélenchon, for a second time”, also insisted on recalling Cyril Hanouna. And to continue: “Both candidates are rising in the polls, so this debate is important.”
One moment in particular elicited a number of reactions. A frontal attack from Eric Zemmour to his rival, on his handicap.
“Do you have any others, Monsieur de La Palisse?”dropped the founder of the Reconquest party as they discussed the retirement of the French. “Roh, he’s back! What did you say?”then replied Mélenchon. “But that makes you deaf, huh! I said: ‘Do you have any others, Monsieur de La Palisse?'”ended up letting go of his interlocutor.
“I’m deaf from birth. You have something against disabled people, I noticed (…) you are rude and vulgar. You hate everyone, Muslims, disabled kids, families that we have to bring together … So save your remarks”replied the leader of France Insoumise after a very long moment of silence.
