The boxer made the announcement on social networks on Wednesday evening.
“World champion Yesenia Gomez asks for more time before facing me,” she tweeted.
“What she doesn’t know is that no matter the weather, she won’t beat me!” (sic)”, she says boldly.
Its promoter Yvon Michel added, also on Twitter, that the fight is postponed to May, “still in Montreal”.
Clavel (14-0, 2 K.-O.) will still put his WBC Silver belt at stake on March 11 at the Casino de Montreal, against an opponent whose name has not yet been revealed.
“Until then, I stay focused! If it was easy, everyone would do it,” she adds.
This is the second time that Kim Clavel has had to postpone her world championship fight against the Mexican (19-5-3, 6 KOs).
Injured in training, the Quebecer had to withdraw for the brawl scheduled for December 17, at the Bell Center in Montreal.
