The movement of anger against the management of the Covid-19 pandemic in National Education continues, Thursday January 27, for a third consecutive Thursday. It is followed this week by 8.52% of teachers and 7.74% of staff as a whole, according to estimates by the Ministry of National Education at midday. The movement is followed a little more by school teachers (8.95%) than those in colleges and high schools (8.11%), according to these same estimates.
The mobilization is on the rise again compared to January 20, when the ministry estimated the rate of strikers at 1.15% in the first degree and 2.18% in the second degree. But it remains far from that observed on January 13, the first day of strike against the health protocol, when the ministry announced 38.5% of striking teachers in primary education and 23.7% in secondary education. The unions claimed rates of 75% for primary education and 62% for secondary education.
