In the fight for the Formula 1 title this season, Lewis Hamilton still finds time to have fun outside the paddocks. The 36-year-old English driver is having a complicated season to say the least, battered by the new star of the discipline, Max Verstappen. If he has not said his last word for the world title, the ex of Nicole Scherzinger will have to put all his forces into the battle. However, the latter still finds time to play a good joke on young schoolchildren!
For the purposes of an advertisement for the UBS bank, Lewis Hamilton has played a funny trick on young children who dream of becoming engineers and come to take a tour of the Mercedes factory. Except that they came across a pilot for the least teasing since he had made up for the occasion. Passed by the make-up box, the reigning world champion hid his face behind a huge facial prosthesis and after several hours of preparation he became unrecognizable! When the children arrived, visibly amazed by the Mercedes factory, Lewis Hamilton turned into a team technician to surprise his victims.
After being treated to a great tour of the premises, the three youngsters had the privilege of being able to take a look at Lewis Hamilton’s car. The latter then approached them to tell them that “nobody has the right to touch their car”, before touching her himself and taking the wheel in his hands, causing the trio of schoolchildren to laugh. “You won’t report me?”, he told them, before putting an end to his little joke. “The reason I have the right to touch this car … is because I’m Lewis!”
