(Miramichi) An AMBER Alert was issued Tuesday on behalf of the Miramichi Police Service, New Brunswick, to locate a missing 6-year-old boy.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) say Kenton Murphy was last seen Tuesday morning around 2:30 a.m. at a house in the Douglastown area of Miramichi.
Between 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., he was reportedly abducted from the home by his mother, 33-year-old Ashley Rose Munn. Ashley Munn does not have custody of Kenton, and police are concerned for the child’s well-being.

Ashley Munn is about 1.68 meters tall and weighs about 76 kilograms, has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen driving a black 2008 Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle (SUV), registration JET 685.
Kenton Murphy is described as having a slim build, weighing 18-22 kilograms, with blue eyes and dark blond hair. He was last seen wearing blue camouflage pajamas.
People who believe they see Ashley Munn or Kenton Murphy are asked to call 911 without delay.
