(Miramichi) An AMBER Alert was issued Tuesday on behalf of the Miramichi Police Service, New Brunswick, to locate a missing 6-year-old boy.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) say Kenton Murphy was last seen Tuesday morning around 2:30 a.m. at a house in the Douglastown area of ​​Miramichi.

Between 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., he was reportedly abducted from the home by his mother, 33-year-old Ashley Rose Munn. Ashley Munn does not have custody of Kenton, and police are concerned for the child’s well-being.

Ashley Munn is about 1.68 meters tall and weighs about 76 kilograms, has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen driving a black 2008 Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle (SUV), registration JET 685.

Kenton Murphy is described as having a slim build, weighing 18-22 kilograms, with blue eyes and dark blond hair. He was last seen wearing blue camouflage pajamas.
