A store dedicated to sound and lighting
“It’s a new offer” explains Piere-Claude Jacob, but in this new store, “we will find everything that is sound, so the sound system, the light, the lighting and then everything that concerns the DJ.” But the manager makes it clear, “the sale or rental of instruments will also take place in Quetigny.” Another activity present in this new premises, everything concerning the development of everything home studio, current music, computer-assisted music and synth.
An opening and a bet
In view of the health context and the restrictions concerning concerts, and other dance evenings, “it’s a bet” recognizes Pierre-Claude Jacob, but the manager wants to be, “optimistic and then, we’re still going to aim for the medium and long term! We’re still going to end up getting out of this pandemic one way or another, even if it’s not the best time for sure but we want to believe it.”
Significant investments and recruitment
For this opening in Quetigny, the boss of La Clé de sol has invested 100,000 euros for everything relating to the layout and fittings part. For the establishment of brands here too it is “a big stock investment to make” says the manager, “It represents several tens of thousands of euros of stock that will be in Quetigny.” With this opening, a job was created, a person specialized in everything related to sound, lighting and DJ will be in charge of this shop.
On-site repair shop
There will also be a repair shop run by the one who is already the piano tuner, and who travels throughout the region. Not to mention adds Pierre-Claude Jacob, “the intervention of an electronic technician for the repair of all instruments that have electronic components.”
