Getting into the music industry is a risky venture. And that, Jérémy Frérot learned the hard way. Facing Nikos Aliagas, Monday, October 25, 2021, the 31-year-old singer recalled the many difficulties he has suffered in the past. An interview relayed by TV-Leisure.
After evoking his desire to become a professor of PE, the former acolyte of Florian Delavega then made some confidences on the day when he announced to his parents that he intended to stop his studies. “I was not at all serene. I remember this Skype very well. At that time, I live in Saint-Denis in the 93 because I go to the university in Bobigny“, he first explained. A large-scale project which had to wait due to its financial problems:”I decide to stop everything to make music and I can’t go home because I am banned from banking. I can’t take the train tickets.“
Against all expectations, Jérémy Frérot finally won his case by obtaining the consent of his parents. “When I got home for the holidays, it was a big discussion. They agreed, but they said, ‘Okay now, you’re on your own. We don’t help you anymore‘”. Good news therefore which, as he then shared with the host, greatly surprised the rest of his entourage. Because once the”bombannounced, his brothers and sisters regularly sent him messages to congratulate him on having succeeded in doing such a feat.
A man very much in love
In a relationship with Laure Manaudou since 2015, Jérémy Frérot has been able to forget his problems of yesteryear by his side. After giving birth to two children, the couple then decided to formalize their love in 2018 in the Bassin d’Arcachon. And, last February, during his appearance on the show Music Weekly (W9), Jérémy Frérot had also unveiled behind the scenes of his marriage proposal. A beautiful declaration of love made in an unusual place. “I made my marriage proposal in Iceland, on a volcano. I had the ring in my pocket and I was wondering how I was going to do“, he explained, in love. And to conclude:”At one point, I saw this expanse with lots of volcanoes everywhere. I said, ‘Come on, let’s go up there, it’s going to be fun’. And I made it there. “Today, he lives a beautiful professional and personal story!
