Montreal: a teenager stabbed on the Plateau-Mont-Royal

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed overnight from Sunday to Monday in the Plateau-Mont-Royal area of ​​Montreal.

The Montreal police were alerted around 11 p.m. to this armed attack, when the victim was located at the intersection of Messier and Gilford streets.

The teenager was transported to a hospital in a conscious state to treat injuries that do not endanger his life, said spokesperson for the Montreal Police Department, Caroline Chèvrefils.

According to the first elements of information, the aggression occurred during a conflict which would have degenerated between the victim and his attacker, according to the police who were not able to locate the place of the aggression.

The assistance of the canine unit was also requested to try to locate the scene, it was added.

No arrests have been made at this time.
