Two Canadians managed to climb on the podium on Saturday, during the second day of the X Games, played in Aspen, Colorado.
A year after winning silver in slopestyle snowboarding at the same venue, Mark McMorris won the event this time.
This is his 21st career X Games medal. His compatriots Darcy Sharpe and Maxence Parrot had to settle for sixth and seventh place.
The adventure doesn’t stop there for Quebecer Parrot, who will be back for the Big Air snowboard event later on Saturday.
For her part, Ontario’s Megan Oldham won the bronze medal in the slopestyle ski event. Frenchwoman Tess Ledeux won gold.
Oldham started its X Games with a bang on Friday, winning silver in the Big Air ski event.
On Friday, Quebecers Olivia Asselin and Laurie Blouin also visited the podium.
