A 6-year-old boy was hit by a car on Saturday January 22 in Eterville (Calvados) in the Caen conurbation, around 3 p.m., reported our colleagues from Freedom.
As he was riding his bicycle, a car hit him. The child was taken to hospital, “His days are not in danger“, confirmed to France Bleu Normandie the public prosecutor of Caen, Amélie Cladière.
The driver did not have a license
The driver of the car was then arrested by the police. Aged 19, he was driving without a driver’s license. The young man was subsequently taken into custody for involuntary injuries with aggravating circumstance.
