The “One Voice” association organized a national action today to denounce the treatment reserved for Angora rabbits in farms. Their hair would be torn out during painful hair removal sessions to design scarves, hats, sweaters or even coats. An action took place in Nice, place Masséna with a life-size staging.
It was possible to sign a petition. Dozens of signatures were affixed to the white sheets of the “One Voice” association. Véronique, an activist was satisfied : “I think we succeeded in raising awareness. Many people who signed were not aware of the fate reserved for these Angora rabbits”.
