In Such a Great Sun, she plays Doctor Janet Lewis. Almost twenty years after the role of Jessica which made her famous with French viewers, Tonya Kinzinger is once again one of the headliners of a French fiction. No more beautiful sandy beaches of Pampelonne and the port of Saint-Tropez, the actress now scours the Place de la Comédie and the streets of Montpellier. In an interview with our colleagues from Télé Poche, the former candidate for Dancing with the stars returned to the evolution of her role in Such a big sun on France 2.
“She’s gonna be accused of something she doesn’t feel responsible for“, explains Tonya Kinzinger. “His whole mode crumbles. From her point of view, she is the victim of a huge injustice and will find herself alone against all and try to prove her innocence.“, she continues. “The only one who supports her is her husband Clément Becker“, she specifies before telling: “She will experience betrayal. The disappointment is all the greater because it comes from Claire, for whom she has deep respect and genuine affection.“.”And since they are two warriors, it will go very far between them. And one of them will have to go“, announces the former partner on the screen of Adeline Blondieau.
Tonya Kinzinger talks about her fears for her health
After developing around her character in the second channel fiction, Tonya Kinzinger agreed to confide in a more introspective way. And especially on the trials that allowed her to discover things about herself. “I lead a very healthy life, I play sports… I always told myself that this hygiene would make me stronger, almost invincible. But between the ages of 40 and 50 I experienced hardships that I never talked about and even if I overcame them I felt betrayed by my body. What I fear the most is not being able to move around and becoming a burden for my loved ones“, confides the one who was born in Michigan in the United States.
