The actor Gaspard Ulliel, known for his interpretation of Yves Saint Laurent on the screen and Caesarized for Just the end of the world, by Xavier Dolan, died Wednesday at the age of 37, after being the victim of a skiing accident, his family announced in a press release sent to AFP by his agent.

Gaspard Ulliel portrayed the young Hannibal Lecter in the film Hannibal Rising (Hannibal Lecter: The Origins of Evil) in 2007 and fashion mogul Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic Saint Laurent in 2014. It is also part of Marvel’s upcoming series Moon Knight and is the advertising face of Chanel Bleu de Chanel men’s fragrance.
