Health authorities reported Tuesday 3,417 hospitalizations linked to COVID-19 in Quebec, an increase of 36 compared to the previous day. Of these, 289 patients are in intensive care, three more.
Quebec also reports 89 additional deaths from the disease and officially lists 5,143 new cases of COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 806,296 infections have been reported, and 12,453 of them have proven fatal.
