After Cognac (1982-2007) then Beaune (2009-2019) and an edition canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Crime Film Festival (also called Polar Festival) took up residence in Reims in 2021. However, the festival was 100% digital, for the occasion.
In 2022, the Crime Film Festival will therefore take place in the Cité des Sacres du April 5 to 10, 2022.
To announce the good news, the organizing team unveiled its new poster, in yellow and black, in polar colors! The tribute to Jean Pierre Melville and Samurai (with Alain Delon and Michel Boisrond) is obvious here.
As usual, the festival will give pride of place previews, meetings with film crews, Without forgetting the international competition or the Claude Chabrol prize. Espionage, thrillers… there should also be something for everyone!
The 2021 winners, which notably crowned Tehran Law (Grand Prize & Critics’ Prize) or even Black Box (Prix du Public), is available on the official website of the festival.
You can also book your Festival Passes online from next February 18, before heading to the Opéraims cinema on April 5.
After champagne – in moderation -, after the Cathedral, after the Pink Biscuits, Reims becomes the lasting polar capital, to the delight of aficionados of the detective genre!
