The Festive! de Baie-Saint-Paul is relaunching its Door Tour. Klô Pelgag, Vincent Vallières, Mononc’ Serge, Salomé Leclerc and “Pag” will offer short performances for residents of the small Charlevoix municipality.
They will offer shows in a mobile, glass-enclosed musical kiosk that will parade, on Friday evenings and Saturdays, in front of residences.
Klô Pelgag will launch the whole thing on Friday and Saturday. Vincent Vallières will follow on January 28 and 29, Mononc’ Serge on February 4 and 5, Salomé Leclerc on February 18 and 19 and Michel Pagliaro on February 25 and 26. A total of 70 short performances will be offered.
“We tied it all up, last week, in 48 hours,” said Clément Turgeon, general and artistic director of the Festif! of Baie-Saint-Paul.
The postponement of the Festive! à l’école and the Cabaret for the next generation brought the return of this initiative, which had been presented during the winter of 2021.
“I had already approached a few artists just in case. They are happy to have an opportunity to perform at a time when the halls are closed. We bring them, in a way, good news, ”he noted, referring to the closing of performance halls, which is still in effect.
14 residences visited
It’s free and registrations are underway for the Klô Pelgag Door Tour. She will perform solo between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., Friday, and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday. Seven residences will be visited on Friday and seven others the following day. A form is available on the Festif’s Facebook page! of Baie-Saint-Paul.
The houses will be selected by lottery. A gathering of a maximum of 20 people is allowed on the grounds of the residences, wearing a mask is strongly recommended and a distance of one meter between each family bubble is required. Some of the performances will be broadcast live on the Festif! Facebook page.
