A report to justice was made by the Paris police headquarters after Nazi salutes made on Saturday on the sidelines of an anti-sanitary pass rally. “This photo taken on the sidelines of the anti-pass demonstration of the so-called ‘Patriots’ movement shocks many, and rightly so”, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced on Sunday 16 January. “At my request, the police headquarters reported to the courts so that all the necessary follow-up could be taken”, he wrote.

In a photo posted on social networks, we can see a group of several dozen individuals marching by performing a Nazi salute. During the rally organized by Les Patriotes, a team of AFP video journalists were also threatened with death and assaulted, and one of the security guards protecting them was injured in the head. This team was targeted by at least fifty people identified as far-right by journalists.
