Gabriel’s Major Blunder

In the heart of Mistral, Gabriel disrupts the atmosphere as he brushes his teeth in a bathrobe, much to the dismay of the restaurant patrons. His future ex-husband, Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré), becomes increasingly irritated by Gabriel’s obnoxious behavior.

In a fit of anger, Thomas confronts Gabriel on the street, warning him about the impending divorce. The situation escalates when Gabriel impulsively tosses a shoe at Thomas. Unfazed by the incident, Gabriel returns to his office, leaving many to wonder if he has crossed a line.

Later, Thomas shows lawyer Master Bataille (Victoria Grosbois) the shoe that was hurled at him, expressing discomfort in his shoulder. The lawyer notes that this could serve as substantial evidence of emotional distress in the divorce proceedings. Will this mark the end of their marriage?

Babeth Discovers Léa’s Diagnosis

After a three-month absence, Babeth returns to her family only to face devastating news. Patrick struggles to find the right words to tell her that their daughter, Léa, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Overwhelmed by the revelation, Babeth falls into her husband’s arms, crying uncontrollably. Despite Patrick’s attempts to console her, the weight of the situation is too heavy for Babeth to bear.

Determined to support her daughter, Babeth visits Léa to reassure her, stating, ‘It’s my job to protect you, not the other way around. Now that I’m back, I will fight alongside you to conquer this cancer. I promise you will overcome it.

Babeth also arranges a meeting with Dr. Charles Carteron, the esteemed surgeon tasked with performing Léa’s operation. She expresses her desire to be present during the procedure. Although initially hesitant, Dr. Carteron is swayed by Babeth’s unwavering determination and agrees to consider her request.

Vadim Under Investigation

At the Massalia residence, the atmosphere is somber as students gather to honor their late classmate, Alix. Nisma is particularly affected by the loss, while Vadim (Léo Mazo) remains emotionally distant.

Meanwhile, at the Mistral police station, Idriss and Samuel (Iñaki Lartigue) uncover that Alix’s death was due to an overdose. They suspect she may have been involved in prostitution, and believe that a man who was with her on her final night might have witnessed her demise.

Later, the officers revisit the crime scene, where they learn that the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned with bleach, eliminating any potential DNA evidence.

Following this, Vadim is called in for questioning at the police station, as he had rented the apartment at Alix’s request. Idriss and Samuel begin to suspect his involvement in her death. Vadim insists he was with Nisma on the night of the incident.

Back at the residence, Vadim confides in Nisma about the police’s interest in him. He reassures her of his innocence, but Nisma’s doubts grow, especially since she knows of Vadim’s penchant for bondage—similar to what occurred with Alix before her tragic end.

Nisma shares her thoughts with Apolline (Zoé Laïb), revealing her intention to mislead the police by claiming she spent the night with Vadim. Apolline cautions her against the risks involved in such a deception, yet Nisma decides to proceed to the police station, undeterred.
