The first playoff game of the post-Tom Brady era turned out to be a disaster for the New England Patriots, who lost 47-17 to the Bills on Sunday night in Buffalo.

The Buffalo squad is the first team in the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown on each of its first five possessions in an elimination game.
The “Pats” have never been in the game, they who allowed the first 27 points of the game. Their only reply in the first half was a placement by Nick Folk, just seconds before retreating to the locker room.
The Bills continued their dominance in the second half, even going so far as to throw a touchdown pass to offensive lineman Tommy Doyle.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen also seemed on a mission, he who completed 21 of his 25 stints for 308 yards, in addition to passing five touchdowns, including two to tight end Dawson Knox. Allen even added 66 yards on six carries.
Bills running back Devin Singletary also stomped on the Patriots defense, going for 81 yards on 16 sprints, in addition to crossing the opposing goal line twice.
For his part, Mac Jones had a tough first career playoff game. He completed just 24 of 38 throw-ins for 232 yards and two touchdowns, but he also had just as many interceptions.
