The octogenarian who was missing on Saturday on the island of Montreal was found safe and sound, reports the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

An 89-year-old man was reported missing on Saturday. The SPVM had reason to fear for his health and the safety of the octogenarian, who would suffer from dementia and deafness problems. A notice of disappearance had been relayed in order to solicit the help of the population.
The man was found safe and sound the same evening.
