Her standout performance came against the Minnesota Frost on January 17, where she recorded three assists in a 4-2 victory at Place Bell.

Notably, Ambrose’s five power-play assists rank her second in the LPHF, tied with her teammate Cayla Barnes, and her +11 plus-minus rating is the best in the league.

Joining Poulin and Ambrose in the January recognition are forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield of the Frost, Hannah Miller of the Scepters, defender Claire Thompson, and goalie Corinne Schroeder of the New York Sirens, who edged out Ann-Renée Desbiens in the voting despite Desbiens leading in several categories.

Looking ahead, Poulin, Ambrose, and Desbiens are set to compete in the final two games of the Rivalry Series this Thursday in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Saturday in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
