Title: Discover the Innovative Dreame Robot Vacuum with Agile Legs for Effortless Obstacle Navigation

Dreame unveiled the X50 Ultra robot vacuum at CES, featuring advanced capabilities such as a robotic leg system for overcoming thresholds and a retractable LiDAR dome for navigating low furniture. It offers powerful suction, an efficient mopping system, and AI-driven mapping. Additionally, Dreame introduced a bionic robotic arm prototype and a Multi-Mop docking station, both set for future release, enhancing cleaning efficiency and reducing cross-contamination in home environments.

At CES, Dreame has made a splash by introducing its latest flagship robot vacuum, the X50 Ultra. This innovative device boasts exciting new features, including a unique robotic leg system designed to navigate over thresholds and a retractable LiDAR dome that allows it to glide under low-profile furniture.

Additionally, the brand has showcased groundbreaking advancements such as a bionic robotic arm and a multi-mop station, pushing the boundaries of home cleaning technology.

Smart Design to Tackle Obstacles

The standout feature of the Dreame X50 Ultra is its remarkable ability to elevate itself to surmount thresholds up to 6 cm high. With its ProLeap technology, this robot can effortlessly lift its body and overcome barriers such as double doors and small steps of 4 cm.

The robot is also equipped with a retractable navigation dome, utilizing both Time-of-Flight and LiDAR sensors for precise movement under low furniture, enabling it to maneuver in spaces as low as 8.9 cm.

Moreover, the X50 Ultra is packed with integrated cameras and AI capabilities, allowing it to create a detailed 3D map of its surroundings. This ensures not only safe navigation in tight spaces but also the ability to accurately detect and avoid obstacles.

When it comes to cleaning efficiency, the Dreame X50 Ultra does not disappoint. It boasts an impressive suction power of 20,000 Pa, paired with a dual anti-tangle brush and an extendable side brush, ensuring a thorough clean across all floor areas without leaving any spots untouched.

The robot also features an advanced mopping system, utilizing 20 spray nozzles and hot water at 80 °C to effectively clean the mop pads. This guarantees deep cleaning while simplifying maintenance of the cleaning mechanism.

Cutting-Edge Innovations at CES 2025

In addition to the X50 Ultra, Dreame unveiled two pioneering technologies at CES: a bionic robotic arm and a Multi-Mop docking station designed to accommodate multiple mops. While these innovations are yet to be incorporated into a commercial product, they are anticipated to hit the market in 2025.

Among the highlights was a prototype of a bionic robotic arm, reminiscent of the Roborock Saros Z70. This arm features four joints, extending up to 30 cm and capable of lifting objects weighing up to 400 grams, including toys and household items.

This robotic arm is enhanced with AI-driven object recognition, employing a monocular structured light system alongside a binocular system to effectively identify and retrieve items like slippers and pet toys. An RGB camera positioned on top offers a comprehensive 360-degree view, facilitating cleaning tasks or remote interaction with pets.

Furthermore, the arm can autonomously handle cleaning tools such as brushes and sponges, reaching into tight spaces as narrow as 40 cm.

Alongside the robotic arm, the Multi-Mop docking station was revealed, engineered to minimize cross-contamination during mopping tasks. It can hold up to three pairs of mops and automatically switch them to clean various areas of your home.

This innovative solution helps to eliminate the transfer of dirt and germs between rooms, using specialized mops tailored for different floor types. Whether for routine cleaning, grease removal, or tackling stubborn stains, the station automatically replaces dirty mops, ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout your home.

While these groundbreaking technologies are not yet available in a consumer-ready robot, Dreame is committed to launching them later this year as part of an exciting new robot vacuum lineup.
