Bérénice Makes a Bold Decision to End Things with Carla

At the Teyssier residence, Bérénice starts her day early, determined to retake her test. Teyssier seizes the moment to question her about why she sabotaged Souleymane’s dish. Bérénice reveals that her actions were driven by revenge, leaving Constance feeling let down by her half-sister’s choices, as she never imagined Bérénice would resort to cheating.

Soon after, Souleymane, Carla, and Bérénice gather in the studio where Teyssier joins them, bringing along the leftovers from the previous day’s test. He instructs them to whip up a dish using the scraps, reminding them that failure isn’t an option, or he will mark them with a 0/20.

Once Teyssier exits, tensions flare between Souleymane and Bérénice. Unable to handle the strain, Carla attempts to leave, only to realize that Teyssier has locked them in the studio.

With no other choice, the trio begins brainstorming recipe ideas, gradually easing the tension. Bérénice apologizes to Souleymane for her earlier sabotage, and he responds with understanding. Carla confesses to Bérénice that her decision to sleep with Souleymane was a grave mistake, explaining that she thought a text had ended their relationship, which spiraled out of control. Bérénice points out that this betrayal signifies deeper issues in their relationship, feeling that they are dragging each other down.

As the test concludes, Teyssier tastes their creation. While it may not be the best dish, he sees their ability to set aside differences as a positive sign and awards them a score of 10/20.

Later on, Carla proposes that they celebrate the end of their exam with drinks. However, Souleymane declines to join, opting to meet Jim instead, and Bérénice follows suit. Carla, holding Bérénice back, apologizes for not recognizing the extent of her support lately, expressing her willingness to do anything to mend their friendship. Bérénice, although she loves Carla, states that she has always prioritized her needs over her own and now feels the need for solitude.

Meanwhile, Rose enjoys time with Marc. Rather than addressing the kiss they shared during their last cooking session, which Bérénice witnessed, Rose takes the initiative and kisses Marc again, and he reciprocates her affection.

Hortense Sets a Trap for Mehdi

After canceling dinner plans with Hortense and her mother-in-law the previous night, Mehdi spends a restless night preparing his recipes for Emi and refining his yule log for Teyssier. Despite his exhaustion, Mehdi tells Quentin he is committed to saying yes to everything that comes his way.

Later, Hortense confides in Vic about her worries regarding Mehdi’s absence after he canceled dinner. When she runs into Quentin in the hallway, she inquires about Mehdi. To ease her worries, Quentin clarifies that Mehdi was simply taking on a challenge he accepted from Tom.

By the end of the day, Mehdi finds Hortense at her station, dressed as Santa Claus. He proudly announces that Teyssier has approved his yule log. Hortense congratulates him, then pretends that his recent behavior has made her reconsider her thoughts on motherhood, claiming she wants a child with him soon. When Mehdi enthusiastically agrees, Hortense reveals it was all a test, emphasizing that she wants him to genuinely want it when he says yes.

Solal Develops Feelings for Zoé

Upon entering the kitchen, Solal discovers that Lionel has already chosen the members for the Christmas brigade: Zoé, Gary, and Maya. Annoyed at not being consulted as co-chef, Solal pulls Lionel aside for a private chat.

Despite his frustration, Solal must come to terms with the situation. While cooking, Zoé expresses her happiness about working with her boyfriend, brother, and friend. She soon notices Solal’s distant demeanor and brings it up. To reassure him, Zoé insists she hasn’t forgotten her friends despite her relationship. In an effort to reconnect, she proposes a friendly outing.
