CF Montréal will play a decisive match against New York City FC at Saputo Stadium on Saturday.

Who would have thought that in the last match of the season, CF Montreal would still be in the playoff picture? Let us weigh our words, this club has gone through the whole range of emotions, and its supporters have been loyal through thick and thin. In fact, the CFM needs only one point next Saturday against New York City FC to reach the playoff play-off match, otherwise it will be necessary to get out the calculators to determine the final ranking in the East at the end of the famous Decisive Day (Decision Day) of the MLS. And we never want that.

The Alouettes, for momentum

The Montreal Alouettes will face the Ottawa Rouge et Noir on Monday and the British Columbia Lions on Saturday.

The Montreal Alouettes already know everything about their playoff run; They will wait for the winner of the Eastern semi-final in Montreal on November 9, to compete in the Eastern final. There are three games left until then, including two this week. Monday afternoon is in Montreal against the Ottawa Rouge et Noir, and Saturday is against the Lions in British Columbia. These matches which mean nothing in the ranking are however not without importance; no team is happy to arrive in the playoffs without the wind in their sails. Or bread in the sails, if we want to stay in the world of football.

To watch: this Monday from 1 p.m. on RDS and Saturday from 7 p.m. on RDS
