We expect them to stop being complicit with Sanofi management“, said Monday October 14 on franceinfo Frédéric Debève, central CGT union delegate at Opella Healthcare International (OHI), the Sanofi subsidiary which produces Doliprane, while the Ministers of Economy and Industry, Antoine Armand and Marc Ferracci, are in Lisieux (Calvados) on the Doliprane production site.

The factory’s employees are called to strike this Monday after the announcement, on October 10, of the opening of negotiations between Sanofi management and an American investment fund to sell a share of Opella.

The coming of the ministers “don’t change anything“to the mobilization of employees, assures Frédéric Debève:”We have been warning for long enough. It was long before we had to take the subject in hand.” But the CGT delegate hopes that the two ministers “come to take responsibility“and that they”will do what is necessary“. “We are fighting for our factory, for Doliprane. We want it to remain French“, warns Frédéric Debève.

The union representative warns that there is “not just Doliprane which is in the hot seat“. According to him, “research and development” are also affected.

They are destroying everything. They are causing social damage at Sanofi on all sides“, worries Frédéric Debève. The trade unionist would therefore like the ministers “fight for all this“.
