Tension continues to rise between Lebanon and Israel. The Israeli army affirmed on Sunday October 13 that it was engaged in close combat with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese movement claims to have ambushed Israeli soldiers. Here’s what to remember from the day.

Hezbollah claims drone attack, Israel deplores more than 60 injured

The United Nations Interim Force deployed in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) accused two Israeli tanks of forcibly entering one of its positions in Ramyah. In a press release, UNIFIL also specifies that on Saturday, “Israeli army soldiers blocked a crucial UNIFIL logistical movement near Meiss el-Jabal, denying it passage.
