(Boston) David Pastrnak scored at 3:07 of overtime and the Boston Bruins beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on Saturday.
In overtime, Pastrnak accepted a pass from defender Mason Lohrei and deceived Darcy Kuemper between his pads.
It was the third goal in as many games for Pastrnak, who found the back of the net 47 times for the Bruins last campaign.
Elias Lindholm also scored for the Boston squad. Jeremy Swayman stopped 33 pucks in the victory.
Trevor Moore responded for the Kings, who suffered their first defeat this season. Kuemper finished the game with 23 saves.
Moore gave the Kings a 1-0 lead in the second period, but Lindholm brought both teams back to square one with 3:10 remaining in the period.
