The funeral of Michel Blanc took place in the Saint-Eustache church in Paris, Thursday October 10. A compact crowd paid a final tribute to the actor who died suddenly at the age of 72. “I’m just here to say goodbye to him with the smile and the joy he knew how to share”confides a woman. Gérard Jugnot, Christian Clavier, Thierry Lhermitte and Josiane Balasko were notably present at the funeral of Michel Blanc. Friends of the “Splendid” troupe gathered for a ceremony in his image. Despite his legendary discretion, the actor left the stage one last time to applause.
