Assault on a teacher in Tourcoing: a complaint filed against the student
The teacher allegedly asked the student to remove her veil before receiving several blows. The 18-year-old student was taken into police custody.

The teacher allegedly asked the young girl to remove her veil, which she had just put on before leaving the establishment. The student then allegedly slapped him. The teacher allegedly responded before receiving several blows. On site this Tuesday, October 8, the students are still shocked.
The teacher filed a complaint. Faced with the emotion of her colleagues, this Tuesday, the principal decided to cancel classes. A crisis unit was opened. The student was arrested at her home on Monday October 7 and was placed in police custody. According to teachers’ unions, attacks on secularism are increasing in schools.
