“Hi it’s Sarah, what does it say?”

This Monday, October 7, Israel commemorates the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023. Several rallies are planned and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to speak. But hostage families and survivors accuse him of only having victory in mind and not caring about the 64 people presumed alive still held in Gaza.

A 14-year-old boy is suspected of having killed a VTC driver on Friday in Marseille, two days after the death of a 15-year-old boy, stabbed and burned alive. The latter had been recruited by the DZ Mafia, a Marseille cartel, to intimidate an opposing clan. The Marseille prosecutor notes that the perpetrators and victims of narchomicide – homicides linked to drug trafficking – are increasingly young.

The European Hera probe is due to take off this Monday afternoon. First mission: study the asteroid Dimorphos, deflected by NASA in 2022. The objective is to evaluate this method of deflection to protect the Earth from asteroid threats.
