“It was not worthy”, reacts the president of the International Peace Forum

“It was not dignified, we can disagree, but today, in a solemn moment, booing the president was not the right moment,” reacts Monday October 7 in franceinfo evening Ofer Bronchtein, president of the International Forum for Peace and former collaborator of Yitzhak Rabin, in charge of mission by Emmanuel Macron for Israeli-Palestinian rapprochement.

The president of the International Peace Forum also emphasizes the “efforts” provided by Emmanuel Macron for a year, for “try to free the hostages” notably. According to Ofer Bronchtein, the French president also alerted the Lebanese authorities to the “hazard” of Hezbollah for “try to avoid a spiral of violence in Lebanon”. “We must not only commemorate October 7, we must also do everything so that there is no longer an October 7, to do it between Israelis and Palestinians,” concludes Ofer Bronchtein.
