Which countries are the least (and most) expensive?

HelloSafe, a platform that compares financial products in Canada, publishes its ranking of the most expensive and least expensive countries to travel to. The ranking, which brings together 136 countries, takes into account the daily budget for a person, which includes expenses related to accommodation, food, transport and tourist activities in the visited country.

If you dream of Barbados, you will have to save money, because it is the country that tops the ranking of the most expensive countries, with a budget of $463 per day. In second place is Antigua and Barbuda ($433), then Saint Kitts and Nevis ($382). The Maldives occupy 4e rank ($368); followed by the island of Grenada ($364), Switzerland ($355) and the United States on 7e rank of the most expensive countries. We find the Bahamas in 12e position ($311), France in 18e position ($267), the UK in 27e ($243), Italy in 30e ($225), while Canada finds itself at 35e rank ($215).

When it comes to the cheapest countries, Laos ranks first ($18 per day), followed by Kazakhstan ($26) and Rwanda ($28). We also note the presence of Ghana ($29), Mongolia ($32), Armenia ($37) and India ($49) among the least expensive destinations.
