Canadian starting lineup | Roy and Mailloux in Laval, Kapanen and Heineman in Montreal

The Canadian announced Monday morning that four players will have to report to the Laval Rocket.

Thus, the Canadian ceded goaltender Jakub Dobeš, defenders Adam Engström and Logan Mailloux, as well as attacker Joshua Roy to the Laval Rocket.

Of the four, it is undoubtedly Roy’s return to the American League that surprises the most. The Quebec player took part in 23 games last season with the Canadian, but he did not have a strong camp, a bit like Mailloux.

For now, Oliver Kapanen, Emil Heineman and Alex Barré-Boulet therefore remain with the team.

These decisions allow the Canadian to reach the limit of 23 players for the season opener on Wednesday evening at the Bell Centre.
