A major water leak risks disrupting traffic this morning in the area of the Montreal borough of Plateau-Mont-Royal.
The leak was located near the intersection of Rue Rachel, between Avenue Papineau and Rue Marquette around 5 a.m.
Water flows from Papineau Avenue to Sherbrooke Street, or even Ontario Street.
The City of Montreal Police Department was called to the scene to manage traffic. The City’s emergency works department is expected on site around 7 a.m. to carry out the required repair work.
