On the evening of October 6, the Israeli army bombed a neighborhood important to Hezbollah. In Gaza, the IDF carried out an operation to prevent Hamas from reestablishing itself in the Jabaliya area.

In Beirut, Israel strikes again. On the evening of Sunday, October 6, two new air raids were carried out and an explosion rang out in one of Hezbollah’s stronghold neighborhoods. An hour earlier, the Israeli army had called on civilians to evacuate the area. Another bombing, after dozens of strikes during the day. In the afternoon, at the border, Benjamin Netanyahu encouraged his troops: “A year ago, we suffered a terrible blow. Over the past 12 months, we have changed reality from one extreme to another. The whole world marvels at the blows you deal to our enemies”.

Israeli soldiers moved into the Gaza Strip to surround the Jabaliya area and prevent Hamas from rebuilding its forces, to the dismay of Palestinian civilians. On Sunday evening, the IDF affirmed that the armed wing of Hamas had been defeated, but that the war is not over. A few hours earlier, Israel was again targeted by an attack on its soil.
