In Marseille, a VTC driver was killed by a gunshot to the head on Friday October 4. The man allegedly refused to drive a 14-year-old who was going to commit murder.
Nessim Ramdane was 36 years old. Passionate about football, he was one of the figures of the region’s amateur clubs. In the video provided by his former club, the father happily enjoys a victory for his club. Those close to him are in shock and describe a man without history. “These are dramatic circumstances, especially for a person at the opposite end of the spectrum.”, declares one of his friends with a trembling voice. In his club, everyone gathered to pay tribute to him.
VTC driver to make ends meet, this father of three children had left the northern districts of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) to settle in Saint-Zacharie (Var). Jean-Jacques Coulomb, mayor of the town, describes a respectful and problem-free man. Every week, Nessim came to train young footballers who came to pay tribute to his memory. The funeral should take place next week, according to his relatives.
