Another setback. A few days after their first defeat of the season against Arsenal in the Champions League, PSG failed to do better than a draw (1-1) in Nice, Sunday October 6. Manhandled by Niçois who were much sharper in rapid attacks in the first half, the Parisians conceded the opener. After a corner, defender Ali Abdi took the ball from the left, his blocked shot ending in the back of the Parisian net (39th).

Much better in the second half, with the good entry into play of Kang-In Lee in place of Randal Kolo Muani, the capital’s players quickly equalized thanks to Nuno Mendes, author of a right-footed shot, also blocked by an opposing defender (52nd). Despite the return of Ousmane Dembélé this evening, too clumsy, the Parisians did not manage to score a second goal synonymous with victory. With this draw, Luis Enrique’s players lose their first place in the standings to AS Monaco. The Niçois remain in the middle of the ranking.
