A minor migrant died during an attempt to cross the Channel and another person, injured, was airlifted to the hospital in Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais), the prefecture announced on Saturday October 5 maritime channel of the Channel and the North Sea (Prémar). An overloaded boat requested assistance early in the morning, and rescuers recovered 14 people on board between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., including this deceased person, whose age and sex are not yet known.
