Toronto | “Serial killer” charged with three murders

(Ottawa) A female “serial killer” was arrested and charged Friday for three murders committed this week in Toronto and two other Canadian cities, police announced.

“She’s a serial killer,” said Bill Fordy, police chief in Niagara, one of the areas where the killings took place, which took place over three days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, was arrested Friday at a hotel in suburban Toronto.

She is accused of murdering a 60-year-old woman in her Toronto home, a 47-year-old man in a Niagara Falls park and a 77-year-old man in a Hamilton parking lot.

According to Mr. Fordy, she randomly targeted her victims in Hamilton and Niagara Falls. The accused, however, knew her first victim in Toronto, authorities told AFP.

Police found the second victim in Niagara Falls after responding to emergency calls. His death was noted in the park itself.

The latest victim, a retired teacher, suffered “significant injuries that appear to have been caused by stab wounds,” police said in a statement. He later died in hospital.
