The Israelis are only thinking of reprisals the day after the Iranian attack. This Wednesday, October 2 in the morning, thanks to the anti-missile shield, the damage was limited.
Residents of an Israeli neighborhood were walking on the ruins of a destroyed building, hit the day before by an Iranian missile. Fortunately, the house was uninhabited, and no casualties were reported. A young couple lives a few dozen meters from the site of the impact. “It really fell right next to our house, if it had fallen on our house, I don’t know what would have happened”says the man. Several dozen houses in the surrounding area were hit by the blast from the explosion. In the early evening of October 1, a shower of Iranian missiles crossed the skies over Israel. Some projectiles managed to escape the vigilance of the Israeli anti-aircraft defense.
These attacks caused one victim, a toll that seems miraculous given the number of strikes. In the country’s major cities, life suddenly came to a halt. Many residents have taken refuge in shelters and some are terrified. Minds are elsewhere, still marked by the events.
