Montreal Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle trained in a sweater suggesting he had no restrictions on Wednesday at the CN Sports Complex.
Guhle underwent an appendectomy before the Habs camp opened. He began skating alone again on September 26, then joined his teammates on the 28th while wearing a shirt indicating that he should avoid contact.
The 22-year-old Albertan played 70 games last season and had six goals and 16 assists.
Furthermore, forwards Brendan Gallagher and Christian Dvorak did not participate in the Habs’ training on Wednesday, instead taking advantage of a day of treatments.
After training, the players will head to Mont-Tremblant for a few days. They will play their last preseason game on Saturday, against the Senators in Ottawa.
The Canadian lost a third preseason game in a row on Tuesday night, losing 4-3 to the Senators at the Bell Centre.
