Israel hits Beirut in the heart

The strike was very precise in the heart of Beirut. Target of an Israeli drone, an apartment was pulverized. Three members of a group of Palestinians described as terrorists by Israel and the United States were targeted. It was a long night for local residents; the explosion violently woke the inhabitants from their sleep. “It was very shocking for us because we thought this neighborhood was one of the safest in Lebanon“, says a resident.

To measure the uncertainty that has descended on Beirut, we must go to the district occupied by Hezbollah. Usually, the streets are teeming with people; today, they are deserted. In fact, a large part of the inhabitants took refuge elsewhere in the city. While awaiting the course of events, doubt has settled in the hearts of the inhabitants of the Lebanese capital. They increasingly fear that the increasingly precise strikes are the prelude to a ground incursion by Israeli forces.
