PSG, Monaco, Lille, Brest and the others are already back on European pitches. Two weeks after entering the competition, the 36 clubs involved in the new version of the Champions League are playing the second day across the four corners of Europe on Tuesday October 1 and Wednesday October 2.

First high-level trip for PSG

Things are already getting tough for Paris Saint-Germain. For the first of four shocks on their calendar in this phase of the league, Luis Enrique’s men travel to Arsenal (Tuesday, at 9 p.m. on Canal+ Foot). After its victory at the last minute against Girona at the Parc des Princes in the opening match (1-0), the capital club will have to raise the level to aim for a good result on the pitch at the Emirates Stadium against the current third in Premier League.

Real Madrid, gala reception for Losc

Two years after the Dogues’ last C1 campaign, what better way to rediscover the air of great European evenings at home than welcoming the reigning champion? Beaten on the first day in Portugal (2-0), Lille will have a lot to do with the reception of Real Madrid (Wednesday, at 9 p.m. on Canal+), who will be able to count in their ranks Kylian Mbappé, back from injury, summoned in the Madrid group.

Monaco to confirm in Zagreb

Continue after the feat. Beaten by a Barça that was still undefeated on the first day (2-1), Monaco is aiming for a second victory in a row on the pitch at Dinamo Zagreb (Wednesday, at 9 p.m. on Canal+ Foot). The Croats are bottom of this league phase after the slap and the nine goals conceded in Munich (9-2).

In Salzburg, first European trip for Brest

After the big (almost) first at home, Stade Brestois will experience its first European trip. The Bretons travel to Austria, on the pitch of RB Salzburg (Tuesday, at 6:45 p.m. on Canal+ Foot). With already a victory on the clock (2-1 against Sturm Graz), the Brestois want to extend the dream.

The poster: Leverkusen-Milan, Bayer to continue, the Milanese to get started

Sensational 2023-2024 Bundesliga champion and money-time specialist, Bayer Leverkusen, third in the general ranking at the start of the day, wants to confirm its big victory acquired at Feyenoord during J1 (4-0). Overthrown by Liverpool at home (2-1), AC Milan of Mike Maignan and Théo Hernandez are waiting to launch their European campaign against Bayer Leverkusen (Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Canal+ Sport).
