No need to wear the mask outside in Paris anymore. The administrative court of Paris suspended this Thursday, January 13 the prefectural decree making it compulsory to wear a mask outdoors in the capital. It entered into force on December 31.
This decision is the second of its kind. It comes the day after that of the court of Versailles. This one had suspended a similar order for the Yvelines department.
He had estimated that the wearing of the compulsory mask outdoors carried “a excessive, disproportionate and inappropriate interference … with individual liberty“.
